It’s not a secret, new album’s release is not so far now, and the nex step would be the promotion. For the one who knows me since a moment, and then that have knonw my albums : Let the Sun Shine (2003) et Just a Smile (2006), they also known that i could usualy expecet 500 downloads during one year.

Anyway, now things have changed. With the extraodinary explosion of visitors that DJ Daerden have catched and with the new promotion tools, i’m sure i could touch 5000 users !

Anyway, auto-production is not easy. Some years ago, i just count on a good email database, friends on forums our demoscene world,.. But i won’t be a spammer, that’s why i have decided to no mre announce new songs by mail… That also let float some mystery on the forcoming album… Too graphical email also won’t be accepted by many programmes, but i should attract the reader

Dedied forums is a big part, that let create link and friendship, but i also eat a lot of time that i don’t have for now. And the dead of Trackers@Work won’t help, as if i have try to be present on France DJ Mix Lab and MPT FR where some older from TAW gone.

RSS feed would be used from my website and blog. Wordpress is also a powerfull tool to optimise referencement !

There are also great new stuff to boost auto-production. Each week new communauty website arrived, and also some dediate to music. I’ve jump to Jamendo and Last.FM, some times ago, not intersted by MySpace that i think not cute. I also discover some days ago that Facebook let me use 2 tools as iLike to promote musics. I’m curious to see what help it could give me ![

Finally, i should admit that video support is often needed. People don’t have time to listen music, but have full of to use time on  Youtube or Dailymotion !
