Here I am, Pierre Martin, belgian musician borned in 1978. Music still have an important part in my life and at the age of 8, I know I would like to write music and be on stage… dressed in red like a Bioman and play electric guitar !

After some clarinet lessons, I decided in 1988 I’ll be a « Mixman » like the Dance Computer, what we could call now a DJ. So with my first K7 Tape recorder and my first small keyboard CASIO SA1, I began to mix all the things i could record from FM Band. I would like to also famous than the Unity Mixers… During 5 years, i had mixed many hours of music under the name of Mee-Kanik. Music Processor (C64)

1993 was in important moment in my musical life for different reasons. First it was the moment i wrote my first musics on a computer. Since ten years i used the familly Commodore 64 and listen to songs from Rob Hubbard, Chris Huelsbeck and cie. But in 1993, my father bring back at home : Music Processor, a C64 software that let me programme music on computer.

There are lot of stories i could tell you about my musical projects but here is the place of Cyborg Jeff’s one. So one day of spring 1994, my friends Pierrick and Romuald arrived at home with an Amiga 500. They both started to write music with Pro Tracker and they showed me what kind of stuff it was, how to record samples and write kwel techno tracks ! Then i know that i’ll had to find something like that running on my PC ! But that takes more that one year, searching on Diskmag, list of copy games and also first contact with BBS.

After few long month of waiting, the new album Just a Smile is finally released ! This album included the two main songs A smile on your face and Miss Eskimo cyborgjeff (Pierre Martin/Belgium) presents his 24rd and new album « Just A Smile ». Author and compositor since now 10 years, this album was built in a production continuation of electronic, melodic and coloured music. About influence, we are between variety, demoscene and old sounds from Gameboy and C64. CJ : « If the album was in work since march 2005, all really start during my summer holydays in augustus, due to some chats with K93 (Steve Kossouho/France who have also realised the cover the album « Let The Sun Shine »). He remember me my old time where i created good Happy dance songs. Few hours later, the song « A smile on your face » was borned and i propose to Steve to design the single’s cover… He show me project next day, but it needs something strong.

DJ Daerden, La Daerden Machine, launched last week on the website still target a CD Single. 10.000 web users have watched the movieclip and the first song still being downloaded. The newspaper Vers L’avenir have write a news and an audio interview from cyborgjeff was also broadcasted on Radio Contact. Contacts have been prepared with differents partners to launch the CD projet! (Wait n see…)
